Dr. C. Michael DuPriest discusses his experience in treating spine patients within the Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System.

Dr Michael DuPriest is both a doctor of chiropractic and doctor of physical therapy holding active licenses in the state of Arkansas. He is also a Fellow of the Academy of Chiropractic Orthopedist with completion of his diplomate in 2003. He is certified in Cox F/D for cervical, thoracic, and lumbar region. Prior to receiving his appointment with Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System he was in the private sector for 26 years, initially as a solo practitioner, followed by being an associate provider with  Arkansas Family Care Network, the latter a large multidisciplinary medical network.  He is married with two adult children, was active in ultradistance trail running for 15 years (now runs/walks for fitness), and enjoys hiking, camping, and foreign travel.

Instructor and clinician from Logan University Health Centers, Dr. Patricia Estrada is our spine specialist on this episode.  She discusses and shares a story along with her patient about back pain in athletes.

Dr. Patricia Estrada, DC, is a clinician and Instructor at Logan University in St. Louis Missouri. Dr. Estrada specializes in functional health and traditional evidenced informed chiropractic. She is certified in Cox flexion distraction, SFMA, McKenzie, DNS as well as board-certified in acupuncture. In addition to teaching our student doctors in the Montgomery health center, Dr. Estrada is an assistant instructor in Cox flexion distraction and laboratory diagnosis. She’s a graduate of Logan University and has been a faculty member at Logan University for 9 years.

Ontario spine specialist, Dr. Rob Rudy and his patients tell what worked and what didn't for treating their sciatica.

Dr. Robert Rudy is a 1997 graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic (Davenport) and has been at his current locations in Peterborough and Apsley, Ontario for over 15 years.

A chronic low back pain sufferer since his teens, Dr. Rudy uses the knowledge gained from his own experience to help empower and educate his patients on the proper management of their low back pain.

Dr. Rudy attends regular post-graduate training with a focus on: Concussion Management, Soft Tissue Therapy, low back pain, and neck pain.  He understands the importance of identifying and restoring abnormal function of the muscles and joints of the body.  Dr. Rudy has been a certified Cox® Technic Flexion Distraction Decompression practitioner since 2013 and utilizes the Cox protocols in the treatment of his patients.
