Dr. Ted Arkfeld shares a story of a single mom of two who has a discetomy, but continues to have pain.

Dr. Ted A. Arkfeld is a 1988 graduate of Northwestern College of Chiropractic in Bloomington, MN. This love for sports and chiropractic has guided him the past 16-years as the team chiropractor for Gaylord High School football and basketball programs.

Spine specialist, Dr. William Hoffman shares a story of a 51-year-old, emergency room physician suffering with lower back and left leg pain.

A Note from Dr. Hoffman

My goal is to help as many people as I possibly can to regain and maintain their health through chiropractic care. I've dedicated my life to providing my patients with the best possible care. Each patient receives a thorough history and consultation. This is followed by a comprehensive examination and recommendation for care.

All patients are given the opportunity to not only get out of pain, but to correct any underlying structural problems that have contributed to their present health concern. Once their problem has been corrected, a maintenance or wellness program is tailored to each patient's individual needs.

I strongly believe in the maxim 'health is wealth.' Most people just don't realize, until it happens to them, how expensive it is to get sick. According to researchers at Harvard University, every 30 seconds in the U.S., someone files for bankruptcy as a result of the treatment they receive for a serious health problem.

The good news is, there are solutions that every one of us can do something to reduce our risk of bankrupting ourselves. The ultimate solution for our health care crisis is to have 'more people less sick.' The only way we can have more people less sick is to have more people choose better health through better living. I want to help you achieve that. By maintaining your neuro-musculo-skeletal system, this is an achievable goal.

Matt Parks, Founder and CEO of One Less CBD discusses CBD and how it can help reduce inflammation that causes pain.

MATT PARKS
FOUNDER & CEO

During his decade as Vice President at Williams Medical Supply, Matt’s efforts grew the company from a regional to national supplier while maintaining a steadfast promise to ensure new patients can be serviced. Understanding that his success was a direct result of building long-term relationships, he was imbued with a great appreciation for small business. Also during his time in medical supplying, he observed the rise of the opiate epidemic, a problem he knew stemmed in part from a lack of quality options in chronic pain and inflammation treatment. These experiences united seamlessly guiding his decision to create One Less CBD.

Dr. Derek Tenckhoff shares a story of an active young man who is sidelined with leg pain for a year.

Dr. Tenckhoff is a second generation chiropractor who has been involved in Chiropractic since he was born. He received his first adjustment from his father hours after being born. Growing up he competed in sports including: wrestling, judo, MMA, swimming, and baseball. Chiropractic adjustments helped to keep him healthy and at the top of his game. His passion for chiropractic began when he took more interest in his father's career as a chiropractor. He observed how patients would come to his father after seeing multiple doctors and being told that surgery was their only option. However, these patients would give his father a chance, and would be healed, no longer needing surgery. He knew then that chiropractic was what he wanted to do. He received his Bachelors in Psychology from Chico State University and his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Southern California University of Health Sciences. He is a Cox Certified doctor.

Spine specialist, Dr. Katrina Weiland shares a story of a 53 y.o. Air Force veteran with debilitating low back pain.

About Dr. Weiland

Atlanta native, Dr. Katrina Weiland, moved to the Shenandoah Valley in 2016 and has called the Valley “home” ever since. Dr. Weiland obtained her Bachelor of Science degree from Kennesaw State University in 2012 and then attended chiropractic school at Life University in Marietta, Georgia. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with her Doctorate in Chiropractic in 2016.

It is no surprise that Dr. Weiland fell in love with chiropractic and became a chiropractor. After some sound advice from a friend, Dr. Weiland saw a chiropractor, and it saved her life! After her experience with chiropractic, she knew that she wanted to become a chiropractor and spread the gift of chiropractic to as many people as possible.

When Dr. Weiland is not seeing patients, she is enthusiastically cheering for The University of Georgia Bulldogs and The University of Virginia Cavaliers. During football season, you can find her at every home game sporting her navy and orange yelling “Go Hoos”. You may also find Dr. Weiland walking around town with her nineteen-year-old dachshund, Frank.
