On this episode of The Back Doctors Podcast we will be hearing from Dr. Travis Cross. Dr. Cross will be sharing a story of a gentleman with severe lower back pain who had been advised to have a surgical fusion for a condition called spondylolythesis.
Dr. Cross has found a unique balance of Cox Flexion/Distraction, and physiotherapy that is producing very positive results for his patients who typically exhibit the most serious symptoms. Low back pain is a common complaint during pregnancy. Dr. Amelia Pappas, a mother of two has a special interest in obstetrical back pain. In this episode, Dr. Pappas shares with us her success using a unique treatment for a women in her third trimester of pregnancy with back and pelvic pain. On this episode Dr. Marc Baker from Nova Scotia Canada, shares how he successfully treated a woman in her third trimester of pregnancy with lower back pain. Dr. Marc Baker worked in a multidisciplinary private practice while also being a staff doctor at the Canadian Forces Base hospital in Halifax. After his tenure with the Canadian Forces, he opened the first Disc Clinic in Musquodoboit Harbour, Nova Scotia, Canada. In the spring of 2015 he opened a second Disc Clinic in Dartmouth Nova Scotia.
Dr. Jim Brandt began practice in October 1969 with two other doctors. He began his private practice in 1970. He obtained his Diplomate in Chiropractic Orthopedics in 1980. He has served on the Chiropractic Orthopedic Examination Board from 1987 to present. Currently, he is the President of the Academy of Chiropractic Orthopedists. He received his Masters degree in Biomechanical Trauma from Lynn University in 1994. His son Ryan joined the practice 2000. Dr. Brandt has lectured locally, regionally, nationally and internationally. He was presented with the Examiner Emeritus award that has been given to only three other chiropractic orthopedists since the Boards inception in the 1960's. He has studied with Dr. Jim Cox since the 1970’s and he and Dr. Ryan Brandt are certified, flexion-distraction practitioners. Dr. Brandt has been married since 1968 and has two grown children and five grandchildren.

Dr. Ted Siciliano has been in active practice for 35 years in the Manahawkin, NJ area.
