Dr. Joy Kong teaches us about stem cell therapy and the research behind it.
From Dr. Joy Kong:
I am a UCLA-trained, triple board-certified physician (American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, American Board of Addiction Medicine, American Board of Anti-Aging & Regenerative Medicine).
I am also the president of “Chara Health” – formerly known as Uplyft Longevity Center- in Los Angeles, California, where I specialize in stem cell therapy, ketamine therapy, as well as a wide range of therapeutics to enhance patients’ overall health and combat diseases in a holistic manner, by enhancing the body’s innate regenerative potential.
I believe in advancing the field of stem cell therapy through education of both physicians and the public, and founded American Academy of Integrative Cell Therapy, where I provide training to physicians on the science, clinical evidence and safe protocols in Stem Cell Therapy. I am a proponent of high quality clinical research, and have originated a traumatic brain injury (TBI) study, and I am a published author in scientific journals.
In an attempt to provide patients and other clinicians with the highest quality stem cell products, I founded Chara Biologics, where I developed a potent and comprehensive stem cell product CharaCore with a patent-pending formulation, as well as an all-natural stem cell skin cream CharaOmni. I was recognized for my contribution to the field of regenerative medicine and awarded the “Top Doctor of the Year in Stem Cell Therapy” in 2019 and “Stem Cell Doctor of the Decade” in 2021 by IAOTP (International Association of Top Professionals).

Dr. Jason Giles shares his own story of addiction as a catalyst to helping others in their recovery journey.
A word from Dr. Giles:
The founding of Addiction Doctors stems from a deeply personal experience that changed the trajectory of my life. Twenty-five years ago, after realizing my dream of becoming an anesthesiologist, I became addicted to fentanyl—a drug that was then only available in hospitals. My habit escalated quickly, spinning my life completely out of control. Unable to stop on my own, in despair I sought help through California’s Physician’s Health Program, a specialized treatment plan aimed at supporting medical professionals with substance use disorders. In a humbling twist of fate, I left the OR and a job I loved to check into rehab.
The doctor became a patient.
It’s no exaggeration to admit that program was my saving grace, guiding me toward recovery and inspiring me to devote my career to helping others free themselves from addiction, but it wasn’t all rosy. Rehab afforded me valuable insight into some of the ways we doctors get it wrong when it comes to treating addiction. As I set out on a new professional path, I saw the need for a fresh approach, one that replaced the outmoded methods so prevalent in the field with a mix of cutting-edge scientific research and the kind of compassion and empathy that mostly characterized my experience in the Physician’s Health Program. Drawing on my own journey, I developed an approach that assumes by the time someone seeks help for addiction, they have suffered enough. My method uses every science-backed tool in the box to ease the discomforts of detox because I’ve been there, and I know how frightening and unpleasant it can be. I understand, too, how transformative a genuine, empathetic connection is at such a fragile time. Scientific rigor and compassionate care are equally important to my approach, and their combination has proved unbeatable in supporting patients through detox and stabilization.

Dr. Elizabeth Welch shares her breakthrough to helping her patients finally correct their posture.
A word from Dr. Welch:
I am Dr. Liz Welch, Chiropractor and the founder of PostureFit. After adjusting a patient some years ago, I watched as she walked out of my office, hunched over in terrible posture. I thought to myself, "I am delivering the best chiropractic adjustment on my patients, but the moment they leave my office, they are going right back to teaching their body to slouch". I struggled with this, knowing the other methods of fixing posture don't work long term.
That is when PostureFit was born. I want my patients, and I want YOU, to experience the benefits of having Perfect Posture. I want you to look confident with your shoulders back, I want you to feel confident with your head held high. I want you to move better, breathe better, and focus more clearly.
The idea is simple, and the results are life changing. If you take control of attaining great posture, your future self will thank you.
