Spine specialist, Dr. Evan Halbert shares some exciting news for chronic pain patients including those who have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia.
Dr. Halbert graduated with honors from the prestigious University of Western States, noted as a leader in evidence informed clinical education and firmly rooted in both basic sciences and hands on learning, with a state of the art cadaver laboratory, rigorous scholastic standards, and a patient focused clinical experience. He was fortunate to experience a special 3 month clinical preceptorship program, working directly in the field with noted veteran chiropractor Dr. Bryce Milam.
Prior to becoming a Doctor of Chiropractic, Dr. Halbert graduated with honors from the University of Oregon, majoring in both history and humanities with a minor in French. Concurrently, he both attended and completed his advanced research thesis on race relations to graduate from the rigorous Robert D Clark honors college program.

Dr. Sarah Murrow pursued her undergraduate studies at West Virginia Wesleyan College, earning her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. She then received a Doctorate of Chiropractic from Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, TX. She is certified by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners and holds an active Kentucky Chiropractic license from the Kentucky Board of Chiropractic Examiners.
After working in Fort Worth for awhile after graduation, she moved to Louisville in 2008 and began working with another Cox certified doctor, Dr. Ralph Stengel. When he retired in August 2009, she relocated the practice into a new building around the corner and has been practicing there ever since.
Dr. Murrow specializes in the Cox technique, a well-researched, scientifically proven technique to treat more delicate spinal conditions such as disc herniations, stenosis, and spondylolisthesis.

Dr. Lee Hazen of the Temecula Center for Integrative Medicine shares a story of a military wife who injures her neck as a result of a fall.
Dr. Hazen graduated Cum Laude from Cleveland Chiropractic College of Los Angeles in 1989. After a short post-ceptorship in Burbank, Ca, he was invited to become a resident in Dr. James Cox's clinic. From 1989 until 1998 he was co-director and resident in Ft. Wayne Indiana with Dr. Cox. While there, he attended and completed a 400 hour post-graduate Chiropractic Orthopedics training sponsored by National University of Health Sciences. Dr. Hazen has been serving the Murrieta-Temecula area for 15 years.
As a Cox® Technic instructor for the past 25 years, he has taught many chiropractors across the country the use of the specialized decompression table, diagnosis and care of spinal disease. Currently, he is on the post-graduate faculty of National University of Health Sciences.
He is currently involved in gathering treatment outcome data for ongoing research on failed back surgery syndrome.
