Spine specialist, Dr. Suneil Ninan shares a story of a grandmother with multiple disc bulges who is successfully treated conservatively.

In The Words of Suneil (Nick) Ninan, M.S., D.C.

“I have been in private practice for more than 20 years. Over this period of time, I have gained knowledge in treating a variety of conditions, for both acute and chronic conditions.

Earlier on in my career, I also taught anatomy and physiology at the college/undergraduate level, and stopped when the demands of private practice became too great to do both.

I opened my office in Gowanda in 1994. I have been practicing in this small town ever since. I enjoy the charms of being in a rural area, with space and privacy. I am happy to live and work in my hometown, where I went to school and have friends and family. I enjoy playing tennis, bike riding, hiking, and gardening. I also enjoy travel, and the great outdoors. I am a longtime member of Collins Friends Meeting, where I teach Sunday School. I live nearby in Cattaraugus, NY with my wife and two boys.”

Our spine specialist on this episode is Dr. Benjamin Glass. Dr. Glass shares two severe neck pain cases that have herniated discs.

Dr. Glass is unique to his profession.  He carries the unfamiliar title of DACBR after his name, which means not only can he treat your spine needs: but as a Radiologist, he is able to analyze different images including X-rays and MRIs.  This skill enables him to more accurately diagnosis his patients, resulting in overall better care.

He is one of only four Chiropractic/ Radiologist physicians throughout the entire state of Ohio who is certified to perform Cox® Technic Flexion Distraction Manipulation .

While there are nearly 60,000 Chiropractors nationally, only 1% of them have chosen to focus on studying and caring for the most difficult spine pain conditions with well-researched protocols like Dr. Glass.
