Spine specialist, Dr. Coleman Cormier shares a story of a patient who was injured in an automobile accident that resulted in a large disc herniation in her lower back.
Dr. Coleman Cormier was raised in Bossier City, Louisiana where he graduated from Parkway High School in 2005. He then moved to Thibodeaux, Louisiana to attend Nicholls State University where he earned his degree in General Studies in 2010. Upon completion of his undergraduate degree, he attended Palmer College of Chiropractic Florida in Port Orange, Florida. Upon graduation from Palmer College in 2013, he returned to Thibodeaux to begin his career. He worked in both Houma and Baton Rouge for seven years before joining Dr. Shay Corbin’s team at Medical Spine-Spine and Sports Injury and Rehab Centers. Dr. Coleman utilizes a variety of soft tissue and spinal manipulation techniques to treat a diverse population and a wide range of ailments. He is married to Amanda Cormier, a teacher at Dutchtown High School. He enjoys hunting, outdoor sports, competitive shooting, and family activities in his free time. Dr. Cormier’s goal as a chiropractic physician is to provide the best care possible for his patients utilizing a variety of techniques learned both in chiropractic training and through his continuing education.
